Continuing tradition of building bridges and international co-operation the Hard Working Class Heroes live international quotient will be filled this year by a Scottish Invasion over the weekend of 12/13/14 September in Dublin, thanks to the curatorship of Sons & Daughters and the generous support of the Scottish Arts Council.

Ian Smith, Head of Music at the Scottish Arts Council said “We are delighted to support the Scottish Invasion featuring some of our finest young bands, who will perform alongside more established names to complement the many Irish bands showcasing.’

Adding to the excitement this year the invasion has been curated by Glaswegian 4-piece Sons & Daughters, a cornerstone band from Scotland who will ensure that the buzziest and most interesting combos are part of the weekend’s activities.

Sons & Daughters are delighted to have been asked to curate the Scottish Invasion at this years HWCH festival. For us it's been about picking great bands that we love to go and see play live and that many other people haven't yet had the pleasure of discovering. There is such a wealth of incredible and diverse music being made in Scotland right now that the mainstream media has yet to pick up on.

Don't worry if you haven't heard any of the names before, rest assured that they are among the finest Scotland has to offer.
